Our Story
Redtree Strategies was formalized in 2020, although our journey in creating diversity, equity, and inclusion programming began much earlier, in 2012. Our foundation was built in the wake of the national reckoning that occurred in 2020, following the tragic deaths of many Black Americans. This pivotal moment highlighted the urgent need for safe yet courageous spaces where people across lines of difference could come together to learn about our history, understand the present moment, and recognize how our past has shaped current dynamics. Our charge was, and continues to be, to create a different, more inclusive world.
From our early work with nonprofits, progressive organizations, and policy think tanks, we realized the profound importance of human connection. We were affirmed in our belief that our work was vital to fostering a more inclusive nation. Redtree Strategies was built from this place of understanding and commitment.
Our evolution has positioned us to serve both as a reactive measure for companies and organizations needing immediate assistance and as a proactive force for setting foundational structures of culture, inclusion, and equity. With years of experience and a deep-rooted passion for driving change, we are dedicated to making a lasting impact through our transformative equity and inclusion initiatives.
